The semi-mountainous village of Kaplani is located northwest of Koroni, approximately 13 kilometers away, at an altitude of 220 meters on the Zarναoura mountain range. It is a place rich in history and traditional architecture, where visitors can wander through picturesque alleys with stone-built houses and discover the old Primary School, which first operated in 1898. The village is also known for its notable churches, such as Saint Athanasios, built in 1907, the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, and the parish church of Prophet Elias. Visitors should also explore the impressive Mycenaean tholos tombs at the location Vigla, one of the most important archaeological attractions of the area.
Within this authentic traditional setting lies this neoclassical property, a two-level historic stone mansion and one of the earliest buildings in the area, located in a charming neighborhood composed of similar stone structures. The property requires renovation and offers great potential, either as a holiday residence or as an investment property, especially considering the rapidly growing tourism in the wider region. Its location is particularly advantageous, as it is close to Finikounta, just 25 kilometers from Pylos and about 50 kilometers from Kalamata.
